I honestly don&#039;t have a good answer to your question yet. I haven&#039;t had time to play in depth with Pippy - the IDE and I haven&#039;t checked for compiler availability yet. Just in general, I think that it will be a great platform for developing and testing security features among others. The HW limits should make developers more aware of the HW resources they are consuming. I&#039;m not sure that I see it as a great platform for usability testing for software that is intended for other platforms. The Sugar interface is pretty unique and I don&#039;t see how usability testing on it will translate directly into standard interfaces.

I think the software ported to OLPC are going to easy to use.. and secure!. What do you think of OLPC as platform for testing of usability and security features via porting?
